Creating storage and organization for the home

I wish I had more room! Do you have too much stuff or is it that your home's footprint and square footage are limited? Organizing storage areas does not have to be an overwhelming task to accomplish. The cold month of January is an opportunity to organize the interior of the home, little by little.
Creating new storage areas can be a cathartic exercise by putting everything away exactly where it belongs or easily accessible. It is also an opportunity to consider new layouts for furniture placement and decor. No clutter in sight!
Creating a routine:
Making the task of decluttering a weekly routine is the easiest. Declutter by what frustrates you most is always a helpful start and then expand by categories of items. From that point, you can begin the organization and storage.
Do you have an attic, basement, garage, or stairwell? These are great areas for storage. Become creative and take advantage of the area beyond the floors and walls and go vertically and between the overhead joists. I hope you find the video below informative as you begin your de-cluttering projects.
